To theright you will see a number of links that may be of interest. To me, links may depict one's professional work, one's avocation, or glimpses of a more personal nature. There are some of each. A link points you to things relevant to the author. They may or may not be of interest to you but they do provide the reader with a window into what affiliations he or she may have.

I joined AECT in 1962 at the behest of my advisor at Syracuse University, Don Ely. Called the Department of Audiovisual Instruction (DAVI) it was originally affiliated with the National Education Association (NEA).

There are links to a second organization, the International Council for Educational Media (ICEM), where I recently completed five years service as its President. Since ICEM is a NGO (Non-Government Organization) of UNESCO, there is also a link to its Paris-based headquarters.

There are also links to our technology graduate programs at the University of Central Florida. In March of 1968, I changed jobs, having just finished two years as the Associate Director of the Media Project with the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) in Washington, D.C... My new job was that of Director of Instructional Media at Florida Technological University (FTU), in Orlando, Florida.

While the university was undergoing construction in pastureland some 13 miles to the east of downtown Orlando, our temporary offices were above the Rexall Building in the heart of the city. When we visited the construction site to see how things were progressing we often encountered rattlesnakes, alligators, and other forms of wildlife. A number of years ago FTU became UCF, the University of Central Florida and I've completed 35 years of service. My retirement came on June 30, 2003.

It is time to explore new options. I will continue to assist AECT in its work. I will also be opening instructional design consulting offices, with headquarters in Orlando and branches in Taipei and Shanghai. The major aim of this effort is to serve as a conduit between UCF and Asia, helping my Asian and other international students to find the best placement in their home countries, and to open new possibilities for our American students abroad. The House of Five Dragons is that company's name. http://www.houseoffivedragons.com
